Not bad at all. You had a perfect day for shooting, no harsh light and strong shadows. This is a great image. Love the expressions on the men's faces. They look miserable.

Sounds like the Japanese value of modesty and self-depreciation is starting to get to you too! ;-) I think this is a great shot! I especially like the look on the face of the kid holding the front-right-hand post of the litter. Nice one!

I really like this, it seems like such an exotic scene yet to the people involved it's clearly utterly mundane, even an annoyance. At first glance I thought they were all wearing Mickey Mouse ears too, I'm quite disappointed to find they aren't ;)

I would really like to know why you consider this a bad photo? Perhaps it is because the girls face is slightly obscured. The colors, exotic-ness, and expressions on the boys faces make it a good photo.
